Heatwave was a summer editorial I shot out on an ordinary London high street, red postbox, terraced houses and parked cars all in the frame. I gave her big retro hair and a flushed, sun warmed glow and had her eating an orange ice lolly, so it plays the heat totally straight and a bit tongue in cheek. I love using an everyday street like this, it ends up doing as much work as the styling does.
